Welcome to my website! Thank you for visiting my home on the Internet.
I was born and raised in Shanghai, China. I hold two Masters' Degrees: Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) from the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Texas at Austin, and Master of Arts (M.A.) in Chinese Literature from the East China Normal University.
My interests are in the fields of Chinese Literature and Computer Information Science. I have written quite a few articles on Chinese Literature and Asian Studies, which have been published in various scholarly journals with international circulation.
As an adjunct librarian, I'm working for Palo Alto College at the George Ozuna Jr. Learning Resources Center on weekends. In the past, I have taught the course Information Literacy for several semesters. Currently, I usually teach the Information Research Certificate (IRC) classes on Saturdays. Here is a link to all the PowerPoint files I have used for the IRC classes. If you like to see the files / documents used by other faculty for IRC, please click on this link.
